Principal's Message

Kishorenagar College, Kishorenagar, Cuttack is one of the leading NAAC Accredited Degree Colleges of Cuttack Sadar Block in the district of Cuttack. The College is located on the bank of Mahandi, the Ganga of Utkal, at the heart of Kishorenagar at a distance of about 25 kms. from the District Headquarters. Since the day of its inception, i.e., 01.01.1979, it has been imparting education to the off springs of the toiling masses of rural area having a unique historicity for Late Rajkrishna Bose, the first Rajbandi(State Prisinor of Odisha),Late Binod Kanungo, the complier of ‘Gyanamandal’ and Late Bhairab Mohanty, the founder of Barabati Stadium. It has its uniqueness for opening of Honours in all the subjects both in Arts and Science for which it has become the centre of study for the students all over the State.

Established in a purely serene, silent, sylvan setting, the College has produced a number of students in both the streams who have excelled in different walks of life. The Staff and the Students as well are striving their best to maintain higher academic standard and to uplift its glamour and glory to the pinnacle of the success.

The Self Study Report (SSR) prepared for the reaccreditation of NAAC gives us immense pleasure and opportunity for the analysis of our strength and weakness.
I am extremely thankful to the members of RUSA, UGC, NAAC, IQAC & R Cell for their dauntless effort and meticulous preparation of the self study report. All the Staff Members of the College deserve my sincere thanks in this regard.
