  • THE BURNING LAMP stands for the light of learning that dispels ignorance and opens up       opportunities for eternal quest of knowledge and truth.
  • THE BOOK is the traditional symbol of knowledge. It also stands for devotion and     dedication to knowledge, and spread of education that virtually opens the floodgate of       knowledge.
  • THE PEN AND THE INK-POT stand for the creative impulse.
  • THE LYRE stands for mirth, music and gait.
  • THE WORDS Prajnanam Brahma signify Knowledge is God.
